Glencoe, Illinois · Chapter No. 1

Charter Members

These are the men and women who showed up first — and kept showing up for decades. We are proud to honor them as the founding heart of the AASCG.

A Tradition Since the 1980s

The People Behind the First Cup

Long before the AASCG had a name, these neighbors were already gathering at Hometown Coffee in Glencoe on weekday mornings. They didn't need a reason beyond good company and a fresh pot. When the organization was formally founded in 2026, they became its charter members — the official first chapter of what we hope will become a national movement.

Below are the founding members of Chapter No. 1. We are honored to know them.
