Availability and Cancellations

Availability

Our consultants are generally not available for consultations after 6:00 p.m. or on weekends. You may contact our office at info@aascg.com to schedule a phone or individual consultation; however, expect a delay in setting up an initial consultation as most of our afternoon schedules are full with afternoon social groups during the school year.

Cancellations

The effectiveness of social group sessions depends on the dynamics of the group. When someone is unable to attend a scheduled group, the group dynamics change and this often results in changes to my preparation. When you are unable to attend a group session, a 24 hour notice is appreciated as it facilitates our planning and is appreciated by the other kids in the group.

Make Up Appointments

Make up appointments are available for missed groups.  You need to call your service provider to schedule a make up appointment, whether group or individual, to get a make up appointment to the session that you missed.  If another group session is not available or appropriate for a make up session, we can schedule a 30-minute time slot within the student's school day to observe or consult to make up the group session missed.  Schools will need to be contacted by parents in this situation, and permission granted by the school principal before we can observe or consult with your student in the school setting.

Inclement Weather

If schools are cancelled due to inclement weather, our afternoon and evening groups will also be cancelled. If you are unsure of whether or not groups are cancelled in your area, please call the cell phone of your consultant for information or e-mail info@aascg.com.  Always choose the safest option for your family. Since groups are billed as monthly tuition, your account will be credited on the next statement if the group is cancelled due to inclement weather.

Billing

All clients are asked to review our price list before participating in services. The current price list is always available on our website. All statements are sent via e-mail as an e-statement, unless otherwise requested. If you have not received an e-statement within 30 days, please check your spam filter and/or contact us at info@aascg.com. We can send e-statement via e-mail to as many parties as needed, depending upon request. Regarding the timeline of billing, we bill individual services after the services are complete. Social groups are billed as monthly tuition at the beginning of each month, prior to receiving services. Information on cancellations and make-up sessions for missed participation in social groups are listed above. Balances that have not been paid over 60 days will be released to a collection agency. At that time, services will be put on hold until the balance has been paid in full. AASCG is more than happy to work out payment plans as well as reduced cost for participation for those unable to afford services otherwise; however, this must be discussed prior to receiving services.
